Day 3 What was the last book you read?

Oh dear. I have been so very busy, a lot of books have been started but few have been finished.
I **THINK** the last book I finished was All Quiet on the Western Front. Sad and yet a great read. If you haven't read it then you really should. Young Germans encouraged to sign up for the war (WW1) witness the horror of trench warfare and they are broken. The war goes on for years and our hero makes a pact to fight against the hate war brings to people of the same generation but on different sides of the trenches.

I am reading Paris at the End of the world, I tend to read non fiction usually and this is about Pairs during WW1. Split into shirt chapters its a light read and a conversational style writing. If you like history this is a good one for your bag.

What are you guys reading?:

  6. Yeah for hell bunny this is a great rule of thumb. Of course some are slightly smaller cut than others but on the whole with shirring you can go down a size. I have quite a few HB dresses now Oops.. Lol

  8. You and your pins have been through a lot together, and they're still going strong despite a bit of protest. I have creaky knees too. I need some WD40. Mine are from an accident and too many pissed rides in a bumper car.

  9. It IS so difficult to take a shot of your own arse. As long as it's padded enough to sit on, sod the rest I say.

  10. Your tummy looks really soft and touchable and I'm glad you're at one with it. I have a double belly too.

  12. I loved the LEB challenge. I still have a few posts to catch up on. They are on my things to do list.

I've always wanted to do a project 365. I do take at least one picture every day but i've never got round to properly documenting them.

good luck with this challenge. I'm hoping it will get my back into blogging x

  13. I have a pile of book to finish reading (at least 4)

I usually have 2 or 3 books on the go at once as I think of books a bit like TV shows which some people think is odd. But if i can watch a few tv series and still keep track why can't i do it with books.

The book I started today is called Hidden by Cathy Glass, I'm only on chapter 3 but i'm hooked, She is a foster mother and has just taken in a child who is very well adjusted, polite but with no papers or history of being in the UK.... Thats all I know. I can't wait to find out more

  15. Leah, IF you buy only one Hell Bunny, make it the Toto dress. I got girls of 16 stopping me and complimenting me and older women smiling and nodding. It was the best feeling!

  18. I asked a surgeon what the go is with the double belly and he tells me that the belly button stalk hold us in at that location so the belly rolls around it. Interesting.
I haven't always been at peace with my tummy. Its been the bane of my existence until recently. I can deal. :-) After all its mine! No one can change it but me.
    Thanks so much Leah XOXO

  19. Ah, that's very interesting. I've been at war with mine in the past but am at one with it now. After all, if I'm lucky to live another 20 or 30 years, I'll be harking back to now saying 'I wish it was still like that!' The mind loves to give us reasons to be unhappy - we just have to tell it to piss off! x x x
