Headed into CBT ..I allowed one hour for the 30 minute drive as its wet.. People in Australia seem to get mental when its precipitating.. you would think they have never seen it before.  I was right.. Two accidents on Narellan rd making that road a stand still and cars queuing across the intersection.. GRR.. a  truck vs car accident on the Highway and a truck slide off the road at Picton. FFS. I arrived with 10 minutes to spare.. Totally relaxed. I had time to negotiate an order from the Pharmacist, get an optometrist appointment and then stroll up to my surgeon's office.

He wasn't in, but I wasn't expecting him to be. A restrapping can be done by the ever patient Anna. I had brought my own bandage that mother had procured for me yesterday.

**Warning Naked injured skin description and pictures ..Stop now!!**

Speaking of which.....Mother came over to help remove the old bandaging. The Dr. had said to soak it and then gently ease it away. Well.. wanting a lovely long shower.. Mother stood there and helped inch my skin away from the tape. Even with 2 hours of inching and being delicate.. my inflamed skin was highly stressed and  in places..I ended up with a zipper injury and red and angry, inflamed skin.
She took another age with dragon oil (essentially eucalyptus oil) getting the glue off.  Then bio oil to try and soothe the unbroken parts.

**graphic (for some)** Scroll quickly past....

Dude! WTF !

Lots of hanging skin. Bah. Hopefully hopefully it will retract over the next year but not if I keep getting timtams every time someone visits. ARGH. I can't resist. I am weak. Sigh. 8 months of hard work is going to unravel if I sit at home and some keep busy. Another extra 300cal of chocolate today. Yummyyy but damn girl....

The sore parts are betadined and then Anna put another layer on top, similar to the stuff they put on burns to make them heal. Well it looks like that stuff but would be a cheaper version. The new bandage by elastoplast has (So far) Not caused me to want to rip the bandage off.. We shall see.
